Tapered Abutments

Zimmer Dental's Tapered Abutment is the traditional abutment profile for multi-unit splinting in edentulous cases.

The design of the center screw allows for the use of a wider diameter prosthesis fixation screw. It is used for screw-retained dentures and bar overdenture applications.

Now available for Tapered Screw-Vent ®, AdVent ® or SwissPlus ® implant systems. This product fits over the Tapered Abutment or it fits directly onto the top of the AdVent implant. This is an alternative to the Bar Gold Coping which requires casting to construct the bar or bridge framework. The process of laser welding eliminates casting time, materials and possibly the distortion that often occurs when casting.
